Shaun Start, Principal and sole practitioner, has been in financial services since graduating from the University of Wales, College Swansea in 1986. With a foundation in retail banking and then corporate finance, Shaun moved into personal financial services in 1993. Having achieved an excellent grounding within the sector, Shaun Start Financial Planning was established in 1999 and has offered Independent advice ever since. The business operates from premises in Byfield, Northamptonshire although clients are located as far away as Manchester and Cornwall. Personal appointments are usually, although not exclusively, undertaken in the comfort of a client’s home to ensure maximum convenience and privacy.

Advice is delivered in a friendly and unpretentious manner, yet is entirely professional in its content. We are extremely pleased with our results as over 90% of our business is now conducted either with our existing client base or through referrals made by these clients.
We do not aim to confuse or perplex our clients and hopefully you will find this website reflective of the simple way in which we like to go about our business. We use state-of-the-art technology to assist in the way that we undertake our business and we have employed the services of a well respected national support company that has provided technical research and regulatory compliance assistance.
